Alphonce has extensive experience in driving the growth and development of financial and agribusiness corporations across several sectors. Currently is serving as a Programs Manager - Senior Economic Development Advisor with Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) Kenya where he is responsible for agribusiness management and financial services development across projects. The role entails Business Enterprise Assessments & Capacity Development - investment structuring, Business modelling, Marketing Systems Development, Actors linkages and collaborations, projects reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
He has immensely contributed to development of new programs, projects design, and resource mobilization and managed effective implementation of several projects. Prior to SNV, Alphonce had over 12 years’ experience in Financial services management; institutional and agribusiness development within Farmers Produce, Marketing, Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies; six years working in Microfinance industry - MSME’s financing and enterprise strengthening.
Alphonce has refined knowledge and skills in strategic management, performance management, private enterprise, coaching and mentoring. Alphonce is an enterprising creative team leader who stimulates out of the box thinking and working environments towards innovative and smart ways of achieving results. Alphonce has an MBA in Corporate Management, Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, Diploma in Cooperative Management and Post graduate certificate in Rural Development from Cranfield University among many other professional courses

Maina Mugambi is an accomplished entrepreneur with interests in the bitumen, manufacturing and construction industries. He holds a Bachelor of Education in mathematics. He is an established consultant for the bitumen industry, with 22 years’ management experience in the oil industry. His immense entrepreneurial experience adds critical value to KKVL’s leadership apex.

Tony holds an M-Com in Finance and accounting, BCom Accounting and a Post diploma course in Computer Science, he also a certified Director at the Center of Corporate Governance [K], in addition to other management courses both in finance and strategic management. Tony has worked in various companies, and most recently Unaitas Sacco, where he worked in various capacities before his elevation as the Sacco CEO from the year 2004 till 2018. During his tenure in Unaitas, Tony is credited for having grown the institution in leaps and bounds for a period spanning over 19 years, becoming the biggest Sacco in Africa, in terms of membership, with over 30 branches, 500 bank agents and the economic transformation of over300,000 members countrywide. Tony brings fresh impetus to KKVL with the intention to impel it to become a differentiated financial institution of choice in the Kenyan financial landscape.

Maina Ruo has held senior management positions for over 25 years in the area of agricultural production, systems and processing, gaining extensive global experience and exposure. He holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship whose study focused on ‘The Inherent Entrepreneurshipamong smallholder farmers”. He studied agriculture at the undergraduate level and also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Management. His vast experience and knowledge of agribusiness and the related value chains are one of the major strengths that Maina brings on board.

Eng. Wakimani is a practising Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in Highway and general Civil Engineering Design and Construction. Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in highway Engineering from Birmingham University (UK) and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He is a registered professional engineer with Engineers’ Board of Kenya (PE), a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (MIEK) and a Member of the Institute of Highways and Transportation (MIHT) in the United Kingdom. As a director on several boards of directors, he adds the requisite knowledge and experience in matters related to governance, strategy and general board operations.

She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in business administration.

Irvine has an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship from Curtin University, Australia. Courtesy of his strong background in IT, among Irvine’s career achievement is the creation of an online travel booking platform is known as Safari desk, a pioneering online travel platform launched out of the I hub through institutional backing of savannah fund startup accelerator. Currently, he is Director of a family-run business known as Emidan enterprise, which specializes in intensive farming and agro - related value chains. He brings on board his passion for IT and blockchain-enabled service and its application to the agribusiness sector.
